PES 2018

I am extremely thankful Konami sent Family Friendly Gaming a
reviewable copy of PES 2018 on the Playstation 4. We were provided the
Premium Edition. We did an Unboxing video of it that can be seen
here. A game
was also recorded in video format that can be seen
here. Do ya'll want FFG to do some more videos of PES 2018? If so
what would you like to see?
Everyone here at Family Friendly Gaming had the exact same reaction when
they first saw PES 2018. What was that reaction? Blown away. The
graphics immediately impressed everyone here. Not only that but the
presentation. PES 2018 has wonderful presentation. There are two slogans
we noticed in PES 2018 as well. They are: "The Pitch Is Ours," and Where
Legends Are Made."
The announcers in PES 2018 are fantastic. Especially when you are
playing in the Become A Legend (BAL) mode. The character customization
is awesome in BAL. I am still shocked at all of the options and choices
we have available there. Families can literally spend thirty minutes
trying to pick what their character will look like. Want a giant blonde
with a mohawk? You can do that. Want a short guy with long arms? You can
do that too.
Music was turned off for the video FFG did. That way there were no
copyright issues. I heard some of the songs in PES 2018, and was not
bothered by them. It is pretty easy to turn them off if you find a song
that offends you. A fair portion of the modes in PES 2018 are online.
That requires a Playstation Plus membership. Since FFG does not
currently have one I was unable to test any of the online modes. We
prefer offline and local play here anyways.
The modes in PES 2018 are myClub, UEFA Champions League, Play Now, PES
League, online divisions, quick match, online co-op, online match lobby,
UEFA Europe League, AFC Champions League, League, Cup, online
competition, Master League, Become A Legend, Training, Edit, Stats,
Updates, Replay, and Options. Difficulty settings can easily be changed
right before a game starts.
The game play in PES 2018 continues to be stellar. The way the players
control the ball continues to astound me. The announcers continue to be
fantastic. The graphics get better every year. There are more teams and
leagues every year. I wish PES 2018 included local American teams like
the Seattle Sounders. This franchise continues to hold the crown of the
best soccer video game.
