Project Cars 2

I appreciate Bandai Namco providing Family Friendly Gaming with a digital download code for Project Cars 2 on the Xbox One. This racing game with tons of options clocks in at 43.51 gigs. Family Friendly Gaming had to purchase an external hard drive just to download Project Cars 2. Thankfully families can purchase Project Cars 2 in the well respected physical copy version.

Project Cars 2 has improved in a variety of ways from the original. Project Cars 2 looks nice. Project Cars 2 has good music, and an English announcer. There are all kinds of options to change the game play aspects. We can race from kart racing to super powered race cars. There are all kinds of cars families can race with in Project Cars 2. There are plenty of fun moments in Project Cars 2.

The issues families need to be informed of concerning Project Cars 2 is the bad language, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more. There is no local multiplayer in Project Cars 2 at all. Which is really lame. The controls gave me fits and caused rage quits. Why does the vehicle turn into a wall when it should glance off? After that why is it so difficult to get into reverse and then back into the first gear. No matter where I put the controls I ran into this issue. It frustrated me. I never had that problem in Forza Horizon (one through three).

I love how Project Cars 2 lets us pick where we want our career to start. This is pretty neat. I love it when games let us access whatever we want right from the start. I also like the different difficulty settings for the computer controlled racers. If you are into playing online then Project Cars 2 has modes for that. I despise online gaming so I did not go near it.

If you are into serious racing and can handle some quirks then you might want to invest in a PhD in Project Cars 2. I wish Project Cars 2 had easier options for families and casual gamers. I messed around with the options for a lot of time and could still not find one that fit me. It would have been nice if Project Cars 2 noticed I was having trouble and gave me the best options for the controls. Even with all the assists on I went off the tracks into the sand. I was trying to turn and the vehicles would not always keep turning. Like it forgot mid turn I was pressing to the right or left.
