Seasons After Fall
SCORE: 78
I am thankful Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download
code for Seasons After Fall on the Playstation 4. This action adventure
game with some puzzle elements is one of the most unique game play
experiences I have had all year long. Seasons After Fall is a 4.7 gig
download, so check your system and Internet usage plan that you can
handle something that large. I did not find any information on a
physical copy of Seasons After Fall at this time.
I really like the music in Seasons After Fall. There is okay voice
acting, but some it creeped me out. Like what in Seasons After Fall
creeped me out? We are some energy seed and we are possessing a fox to
do our bidding. Demonic possession is a scary thing so it it shocked me
that Seasons After Fall put it in there. I know plenty of people highly
offended by possession.
The graphics in Seasons After Fall change based on the season. We can
change the seasons in Seasons After Fall at will. Why would you want to
change the seasons in Seasons After Fall? Because it changes the
graphics. Joking about that. It actually changes the environment. Like
say it freezes a lake. Then you can run across it and jump. You can not
jump when the water is in liquid state because the fox just swims around
in it.
The controls are a bit loose in Seasons After Fall. I slipped off ledges
quite a bit in Seasons After Fall. The good news is we take no damage.
There is lag in Seasons After Fall when we change the seasons and
objects are impacted. I never got stuck in any of the puzzles for very
long in Seasons After Fall. I like that. The down side to the easy
difficulty in Seasons After Fall is it takes four to six to beat this
game.
I like how peaceful Seasons After Fall is. We spend most of the game
finding the guardians of the seasons and bringing their season essences
back to the main area. You could say we are fetching things and bringing
them back. I also kept wanting to hear what the fox says if you know
that song. Seasons After Fall lets us bark with the fox which is pretty
neat and impacts the environment.
I like Seasons After Fall. It is not a perfect game. I enjoyed changing
the seasons and progressing through this downloadable only home console
video game. I like the idea of playing a fox. I just wish we were
working with the fox instead of possessing him. I hope a physical copy
of Seasons After Fall is released in the future.
