Shadowhand
SCORE: 60
Family Friendly Gaming was sent a digital download code for
Shadowhand on Steam. This Personal Computer (PC) video game is an
interesting card battling concept. We did not ask for this game, nor had
we spent money on it before the cost of this reivew. In this day and age
we never know what is coming, or who will offer us money to cover their
product. Lately there have been more companies offering us money to do
videos of their products.
The issues families can have with Shadowhand is lack of attire,
enticement to lust, violence, blood, bad language, alcohol, dreary
graphics and more. Luck plays a major part of the game play in
Shadowhand. We build up our different abilities to attack the computer
controller character. We play cards as plus one or minus one. Say you
have a three, then you can draw a four or a two. Say you draw a two,
then you can draw a three or an one next time.
If you make a mistake there is an Undo button in Shadowhand. There are
twenty-two chapters in this downloadable only PC video game. It only
took three hundred and twenty-five megs to download Shadowhand. I found
the gameplay to be extremely interesting in Shadowhand. The gloomy story
was less interesting to me. The artwork is done well in Shadowhand.
The blood in Shadowhand can be turned off if you decide to remove that
piece of offensive content. I wish more games did that. Or maybe I
should say I wish more games offered that option. I wish Shadowhand had
done the same with other offensive content like the bad language,
profanity, enticement to lust, and lack of attire. Shadowhand does not
offer enough of offensive content removal in my opinion.
As I write this review the normal price for Shadowhand will be $14.99.
In my opinion that price is over inflated by 33%. The nice music does
not save Shadowhand from its many other failings. I could get unlucky
and lose over and over again in Shadowhand. On the other hand I could
get lucky and win with little strategy. Shadowhand is missing some
important balance in my opinion.
