Star Trek Bridge Crew

Long time members of Family Friendly Gaming know I despise online games. I constantly push for offline game play modes. I have had bad experience after bad experience playing games online. I have experienced hate speech against Christians, profanity, sexism, racism, and more. So for me to want to play Star Trek Bridge Crew online says something. The community for Star Trek Bridge Crews is so much nicer than other online games I have played. Not perfect, but much nicer.

Star Trek Bridge Crew requires the Internet for single player as well as multiplayer. There is no local multiplayer in Star Trek Bridge Crew. Again the community in Star Trek Bridge Crew is generally good. They are helpful in learning the stations. Players can take on the role of the captain, engineer, tactical officer, and helmsman. While the first role you might want to play is captain it is also one of the easiest. So I recommend new players try captain after doing the tutorial and single player mode.

Star Trek Bridge Crew gives players a good direction on what to do. There are mission goals that the captain relays on to the crew. The PC and PS4 players can play together, so that is pretty cool. Star Trek Bridge Crew is PS Move compatible, but it is not required. I did run into players who were profane. I also ran into so many helpful players online. There are some hilarious people out there too.

Verbal communications are very important in Star Trek Bridge Crew. The four players must communicate verbally in Star Trek Bridge Crew. This is how the crew gets through the missions. Each station has its own role which helps with the replay value. The single player experience can be beaten in two to three hours. It all depends on how quickly you pick things up. I personally believe Star Trek Bridge Crew is a bit overpriced at fifty dollars. It should be thirty to forty dollars in my opinion.

I am very thankful Ubisoft sent Family Friendly Gaming a physical copy version of Star Trek Bridge Crew on the PS4 VR. This Virtual Reality game looks beautiful. There is some mild enticement to lust, and violence issues in Star Trek Bridge Crew. I love the music, and voice acting. I did run into a few glitches that I fixed by making sure there were no visual obstructions between me and the PS Eye.

I found it was better to sit down while playing Star Trek Bridge Crew since the characters are stuck in their seats. It would have been neat to walk around as say the captain in Star Trek Bridge Crew. I also would like to have seen some other Star Trek ships in Star Trek Bridge Crew. My hope is there will be some free DLC in the near future. Star Trek Bridge Crew has a great community that Ubisoft needs to support.
