Star Vikings Forever
SCORE: 70
My spirit soars with thankfulness that Akupara Games sent Family
Friendly Gaming a digital download code for Star Vikings Forever on
Steam. This interesting blend of styles can also be found on iOS, and
Android. Star Vikings Forever is part RPG and part puzzle. We have
Vikings that can move forward along a path. There are enemies that are
in the way. We have so many attacks we can do in a level, and so much
health.
As you play through the grids of Star Vikings Forever you will gain
experience and eventually level up. This will help you take on more
difficult levels. Grinding is a part of any role playing video game. I
found grinding helped make later levels easier. There might be a way
through at lower levels. I am probably not bright enough to figure that
out though. I do not mind grinding.
The first thing I noticed about Star Vikings Forever is the music. It
sounds like 80s rock to me. It welcomed me into Star Vikings Forever
right away. I felt at home playing Star Vikings Forever thanks to the
music. There are six classes in Star Vikings Forever with upgrade-able
skills. The puzzle levels in Star Vikings Forever are procedurally
generated. Levels look the same very few times, and game walkthroughs
are worthless.
The issues families will have with Star Vikings Forever is idols, false
gods, violence, crude humor, and more. It can take a bit to get used to
the game play style in Star Vikings Forever. There are no physical copy
versions of Star Vikings Forever for the millions within the physical
copy movement. The app nature of Star Vikings Forever is very apparent
to me.
Reactions are a large part of Star Vikings Forever. Shoot an enemy and
they attack any connecting tiles. If you hit the right enemies at the
right spot, then you can set off a nasty chain reaction that can help
you get through the level faster. Players must also get all of their
team from the left side to the right side arrows. That means it has to
be cleared for each of their characters.
Star Vikings Forever is a quirky little title that is only 400 megs in
terms of download size. That should not damage your hard drive space and
Internet plans. At least I hope not. I like the idea behind Star Vikings
Forever in terms of the game play. It took me a few hours to grasp what
Star Vikings Forever was trying to do. At the end of the day I enjoyed
my time with Star Vikings Forever.
