Suicide Squad

When the Blu-ray + DVD + Digital HD version of Suicide Squad dropped to ten dollars brand new we decided to pick it up. Our family is into the super hero movies. I am shocked that Suicide Squad is not rated 'R'. In fact there is enough bad language, and we are talking the nastiest of language to warrant the Restricted rating. I do not know what the raters are thinking because the bad language in Suicide Squad would make a sailor blush.

On top of the bad language, Suicide Squad also contains violence, blood, lack of attire, enticement to lust, a witch, possession, death, lies, deceit, gore, using evil to do good, and more. Holly Weird is back to its racist tricks by making Deadshot black. Why do they do this? What is their problem with keeping true to the source material? They can make Joker more like the comic books, but not Deadshot. I do not get the lack of respect for the comic books. I do not understand the constant desire to change things.

We get glimpses of Batman, and Flash in Suicide Squad. It makes me very interested in seeing a Justice League movie. I wish they would use characters from the television shows but continuity has never been a strong suit of Holly Weird. So much of Suicide Squad makes little to no sense to me. Amanda Waller creates the problem the Suicide Squad needs to stop. She is never held responsible for her misdeeds.

How do they get these criminals, and psychopaths to fight for the government as a black ops group? The government puts bombs in their necks. One of the characters gets his head blown off so the rest can see that they mean business. Ruling through fear is another lesson Suicide Squad teaches us. Suicide Squad would be right at home in any Communist country. Why? They also use fear to rule. Of course the political left tries the same thing in America.

The special effects and coloring is done really well in Suicide Squad. I am one of the few people here at Family Friendly Gaming that likes the rendition of the Joker in Suicide Squad. He is more like the comic books. Which some of the special features verified. Suicide Squad is very Batman villain heavy. So expect plenty of Batman villains in Suicide Squad. Suicide Squad is not for kids, and should have been rated 'R'.
