The Lion King Walt Disney Signature Collection
SCORE: 82
I am very thankful Disney sent Family Friendly Gaming a reviewable
copy of The Lion King Walt Disney Signature Collection on Blu-ray + DVD
+ Digital. I was a bit confused by the name at first. Why? The bottom of
the case has: "The Circle of Life Edition," on it. So initially I
thought this was the circle of life edition. When I did some research I
found it actually referred to as the Walt Disney Signature Collection.
I am very surprised that Family Friendly Gaming has not sounded off on
this movie before. Better late than never. Besides haste leads to waste.
So no need to rush into things. The art work and animation in The Lion
King Walt Disney Signature Collection is stellar. There is some action
adventure animal violence in The Lion King Walt Disney Signature
Collection.
The big lesson in The Lion King Walt Disney Signature Collection is the
circle of life. If you are not familiar with it, then let me explain.
The lions eat the antelope, and when the lions die they go into the
ground and feed the grass. The grass feeds the antelope. See how it all
circles around? I know that is a simplistic way of explaining it. I am
just using what the movie gave me.
The Lion King Walt Disney Signature Collection has well known songs. In
fact the movie can be played normally or in the sing along edition.
There is a witch doctor like baboon in The Lion King Walt Disney
Signature Collection. There is also a short scene where the dead father
appears to his son. The son disobeys his father and that leads to
problems later down the road. Scar manipulates Simba to take the throne
from him.
There is plenty of humor in this movie with an African feel, and some
words. I am not sure what language exactly those words are from. Tons of
bonus content can be found on The Lion King Walt Disney Signature
Collection. There is recording sessions, inside the story room,
visualizing a villain, songs, bloopers, previews, and more. The Lion
King Walt Disney Signature Collection takes eighty-eight minutes to
watch. Then there are three hours of extras.
I enjoyed watching The Lion King Walt Disney Signature Collection on
Blu-ray, and DVD. I did not watch The Lion King Walt Disney Signature
Collection in the digital format. Scar is an excellent villain in The
Lion King Walt Disney Signature Collection. The peril that surrounds him
is apparent. It is nice to know this franchise continues on to this day.
I am shocked at how old The Lion King is. It felt like just yesterday it
was released. That just yesterday was 1994. Digitally remastering worked
really well on this movie.
