The Turing Test
SCORE: 59
The Turing Test came across my Xbox One thanks to the program for
free games as long as you pay for the Xbox Live Gold membership. So I
know The Turing Test is not really free. It also only works on my system
as long as I keep paying Microsoft or pay for the game myself. The
Turing Test is a digital download. I found no information on a physical
copy of The Turing Test at this time.
The Turing Test is a first person puzzle game. Think of Portal 2 as an
example of this graphical look. We do not teleport through portals in
The Turing Test. We are required to work our way through all of these
areas. The puzzles in The Turing Test start okay. They can get really
hard later on. If you are stuck in The Turing Test then you are stuck.
You will have to check a guide to find your way out. The Turing Test
does not offer any hints.
The issues found within The Turing Test are violence, bad language, and
more. I had trouble with the long loading times and the difficulty of
some of the puzzles. I hate having to go to a game guide to find a way
through over and over again. The Turing Test also deals with moral and
ethical issues. SPOILER ALERT! The humans we are looking for have found
an organism that ends all death. The AI computer is trying to stop them
from bringing it back to Earth.
The Turing Test is a large digital download. It is just under nine gigs
in terms of size. In my opinion The Turing Test should have a physical
copy because of the large game size. Much of that memory is sectioned to
the graphics. There is also a nice voice that talks to us. The voice
acting is a bit stale in The Turing Test. I think they were going for
that though based on the frame of reference.
We have a tool gun in The Turing Test that allows us to make minor
manipulations to the environment. We get to remove these orbs that will
power switches. There are seven chapters and an epilogue in The Turing
Test. I played The Turing Test on the Xbox One. This game is also
available for PCs on the Steam portal. I want no sequels to The Turing
Test anytime soon.
