Tiny Barbarian DX

Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Tiny Barbarian DX on the Nintendo Switch. This hardcore 2D side scrolling video game is also available on the Personal Computer (via Steam). Tiny Barbarian DX is available in the extremely popular physical copy format for the Nintendo Switch as well. Expect a challenge from Tiny Barbarian DX.

Tiny Barbarian DX is like old 8-bit or 16-bit games where the enemies are plentiful and the main character does not have a whole lot of health. Thankfully we can take multiple hits in the long levels of Tiny Barbarian DX. This video game only saves after an entire area is completed. When you die you will restart at that screen. So you can work your way through if you can figure out the jumps and attacks.

I learned to find the patterns in Tiny Barbarian DX. Once I had those I could move myself through the level. The other kind of player here at Family Friendly Gaming that could play Tiny Barbarian DX is those whom are quick on their feet and able to improvise on the fly. Others found Tiny Barbarian DX to be difficult. Retro games might find themselves right at home in Tiny Barbarian DX.

The issues families can have with Tiny Barbarian DX is blood, gore, death, violence, nudity, lack of attire, enticement to lust, undead and more. Tiny Barbarian DX is a 159 meg file game that can be played in adventure mode or Vs the horde. The intro loading screen is interesting. We are at the top of a tower and fighting off enemies that are trying to take the top.

The graphics are not that great looking in Tiny Barbarian DX. Calling them indie or retro is being very kind. The 16-bit like music was cool to listen to. I ran into control issues with Tiny Barbarian DX. Especially on the vines and chains. Players press up to hold on to a chain or vine. That did not always work for me though. I got a bit frustrating missing things like that and falling into spikes.

Some people here at Family Friendly Gaming could not get through the first area. Others got stuck in the dungeon area. It is possible to get through Tiny Barbarian DX. You will need to practice and work at it. Once you do then you can fly through this game very quickly. It was a real experience for me to play and review Tiny Barbarian DX on the Nintendo Switch.
