Unbox Newbie's Adventure

The first family of Family Friendly Gaming saw Unbox Newbie's Adventure at a local retailer and requested a physical copy for a review. They thought it would be hilarious to do an Unboxing video of a game called Unbox Newbie's Adventure. A digital download code on the Nintendo Switch was provided. This is definitely an indie game. It is great to see indie games getting physical copy releases.

The only thing about Unbox Newbie's Adventure that baffles me is this one question. Why did this indie game get a physical copy over so many better indie games that should have gotten physical copies? The music in Unbox Newbie's Adventure is nice. The Banjo-Kazooie sounds are neat to hear again this year. This is like the second or third game this year to use them. 3D action adventure games from the 1990s are back in vogue.

Unbox Newbie's Adventure has nice music in it. There is some mild violence as our box will smash these other boxes that are attacking us. Why are those other boxes attacking us? If you like to collect golden tape then you might enjoy Unbox Newbie's Adventure. I will warn you the controls are really strange. The controls in Unbox Newbie's Adventure will make a great many players rage quit. I don't remember Banjo-Kazooie having these kinds of controls. Wait a second.

Okay I just got back from playing Banjo-Kazooie on the Nintendo 64. I have verified the controls were not a problem in that game. We have multiple boxes in Unbox Newbie's Adventure that we can shed. Why would you do that? To get across water, jump higher, and other situations that arise in this indie game. The graphics in Unbox Newbie's Adventure are very indie. Some areas looked fuzzy to me.

The loading times are long in this 3.4 gig sized video game. Stamps are important in Unbox Newbie's Adventure. We need to find them, and complete quests for other box characters to progress. The directions in Unbox Newbie's Adventure did not always make much sense to me. I had trouble following that arrow at times. If you like to customize things then you might like customizing your box in Unbox Newbie's Adventure.
