I like paintball video games. They give families the first person
shooter game play style without the blood, gore, and violence.
Paintballs explode on the character and they have to leave the match.
The worst paintball video game I have ever played is NPPL Championship
Paintball 2009. That was until I played XField Paintball 3 on Steam. I
gave this game so many chances too. I will get into all of my
experiences in just a minute. Do not buy this game under any
circumstances. If you get it free, run away. Unless you are paid for
your time.
Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download key to XField
Paintball 3 a few weeks before it launched. We were also given two small
windows of time to play with the developers. Neither of those times
worked for us. So we could not get into the game - at all. There is no
local mode. There is no offline mode. You have to play with others
online. That bothers me, and many of us here at Family Friendly Gaming.
It is bad enough there is no console version of this game, but no
offline mode. Now that is ultra lame.
XField Paintball 3 is nowhere near the Greg Hasting Paintball video
games. Those games are still better than XField Paintball 3. The Greg
Hastings Paintball video games look better, sounds better, and plays
better than XField Paintball 3. How old are the Greg Hastings Paintball
video games? I will say that XField Paintball 3 has some okay music in
it. XField Paintball 3 taught me frustration, irritation, and
aggravation. I finally got into a game after XField Paintball 3 launched
officially. I will get into that in the next paragraph.
So I was so happy to finally get into a game after wasting a couple of
weeks of attempts and all kinds of money. I walked straight into a wall
and could not stop walking toward it. I noticed the other player did the
same thing. After a few minutes I quit and they got the win. So if you
can wait out the other frustrated player you can get a win in XField
Paintball 3. I shut down the game, and rebooted the computer. The same
thing happened again. I tried a third time. The same problem. I verified
I had the latest update - and I did.
The controls in XField Paintball 3 are confusing. I could not find help
to get XField Paintball 3 working properly. I gave up. I wasted enough
time and money on this game. Maybe XField Paintball 3 will get updated
and fixed. Family Friendly Gaming has a policy on game updates, so I
doubt I will ever touch XField Paintball 3 again. XField Paintball 3 did
do one really positive thing for me. It got me interested in going back
to the Greg Hastings Paintball video games and playing them again.

were given was revoked. So the game was taken from us.
