Zelda II The Adventure of Link

A reader request came in for a review of Zelda II The Adventures of Link on the 8-bit NES. I had not played this game in many years. I cleaned out the cartridge and went back to this game that had maps to walk around, and 2D side scrolling levels. Zelda II The Adventures of Link requires the player to figure things out for themselves. The directions in this retro game are not always accurate. Like being told to go west to find something when you really need to go northeast.

Zelda II The Adventures of Link looks good for its era. There are graphical glitches here and there. The music is pleasant. The game play is easy to learn. Leveling up is always helpful. There is lag in the text boxes. Zelda II The Adventures of Link contains violence, and magic. Most of the magic is helpful to the player like a shield, or jumping for instance.

Prices for Zelda II The Adventures of Link can be high since it is a sought after game. There are plenty of walkthroughs out there to help gamers that get stuck. Zelda II The Adventures of Link is also known to be very difficult in certain parts.
