Ant-Man and Wasp

Another movie in our march to Christmas was Ant-Man and the Wasp. I liked this movie better than the first one. Scott Lang is under house arrest for his part in the Captain America Civil War battle. Dr. Hank Pym and his daughter have had nothing to do with him. That is until they open the door to the Quantum Realm. Scott Lang has a dream/memory of Dr. Pym's wife who is trapped in the Quantum Realm.

The issues families can have with Ant-Man and the Wasp is lying, bad language, violence, and more. I am surprised at generally how clean Ant-Man and the Wasp is. At least compared to many of the other Marvel movies. Scott Lang must repeatedly lie to the FBI to make sure he is not thrown in prison. He is kidnapped at one point but decides to help his super hero friends.

Michael Pena does a fantastic job playing Luis in Ant-Man and the Wasp. His stories are humorous in this movie. Especially when he has truth serum put into him. He becomes heroic in Ant-Man and the Wasp as well. I really enjoyed his character. It is nice to see Scott and Hope work on their relationship in Ant-Man and the Wasp. I hope they wind up getting married.

Laurence Fishburn and Michelle Pfeifer join the cast of Ant-Man and the Wasp. Both of them play great roles in this movie. It is nice to see more known actors/actresses join the Marvel Universe. The fight scenes in Ant-Man and the Wasp involve shrinking, growing, shooting, and phasing through objects. These make for some interesting battles that can keep your attention. I know they kept mine.

Ant-Man and Wasp both need to join the Avengers. I doubt it will happen but you never know. I feel like I got my moneys worth out of this Black Friday 2019 purchase. Remember if you are watching our FFG Haul videos you will know what products are coming up for review in the near future. You might also know what video series will be appearing at some future date.
