Bus Simulator 18

I was given the interesting task of playing Bus Simulator 18 on the Personal Computer (PC). This simulation video game lets you take control of a city bus. That is right. We can drive city buses on their routes. Bus Simulator 18 is extremely realistic in things like driving the route, getting tickets for going too fast, and getting fined for crashing into things like light poles.

I love the lesson in Bus Simulator 18. What does Bus Simulator 18 teach us? Bus Simulator 18 teaches us to do our jobs well. I just wish the graphics were better while it teaches us. I also noticed some graphical glitches while playing Bus Simulator 18. The controls in Bus Simulator 18 require a tutorial. Even then you can get yourself stuck between a pole and a vehicle for example. The WASD controls gave me fits in a lot of tight places.

There are options available in Bus Simulator 18. We can turn bankruptcy on and off. We can also pick the city (not working at the time of this review), and Trip Mode. There is also an option for mods in Bus Simulator 18. On top of all that Bus Simulator 18 also contains character customization. FFG spent money on a review of Bus Simulator 18 while it was in the Beta. The download size of Bus Simulator 18 is 5.5 gigs.

I noticed some American voice acting in Bus Simulator 18. That is a neat touch in Bus Simulator 18. I hope this bus driving video game makes its way to the consoles and a physical copy release. There are obviously some parts of Bus Simulator 18 that need to be cleaned up before the final launch. The music in Bus Simulator 18 works and is generally pleasant.

Bus Simulator 18 is realistic in a lot of things. One of the areas Bus Simulator 18 fails is the light poles. They will stop a rampaging bus that is speeding down the road. In the real world that light pole would come down as the bus would go right through it at those speeds. I like how Bus Simulator 18 reminded me to close the door before leaving the station. I learned a lot about bus drivers thanks to Bus Simulator 18.
