Castlevania Requiem Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood

Castlevania Requiem Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood

I was shocked to learn after all of the thousands of products we have reviewed that we have only sounded off on the Castlevania franchise once. That was the original NES video game. This package contains two games in it. Castlevania Requiem Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood contains Castlevania Symphony of the Night (SOTN), and Castlevania Rondo of Blood.

I personally have played through Castlevania SOTN before. I never played Castlevania Rondo of Blood even though I have a Turboduo. Castlevania Requiem Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood is a 1.3 gig download. Hardcore Castlevania fans will remember SOTN very fondly. I even remember it fondly for the role playing elements of leveling up, getting new weapons and armor.

The issues families will have with Castlevania Requiem Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood is blood, bad language, lack of attire, enticement to lust, nudity, violence, gore, and more. On the plus side there are references to God and the player is trying to destroy a great evil. Castlevania Requiem Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood is only for family members thirteen years and older.

I wish there was a physical copy release of Castlevania Requiem Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood. SOTN and Rondo of Blood are two different kinds of games. Where we explore the castle in SOTN leveling up, and getting new skills, Rondo of Blood is a level based Castlevania game. Rondo of Blood is also extremely challenging. Casual gamers do not need to even try Rondo of Blood. Teen Gamer did and was instantly frustrated. With practice and patience you can get through the levels.

I forgot all about the voice acting in SOTN. I am considering doing a video series of SOTN when I have an opening in my schedule. Hopefully the digital download code I was given does not expire. I suppose I could always play SOTN on the original Playstation. Be careful stretching the screen while playing Castlevania Requiem Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood. It does not always look right stretched out.

Castlevania has issues for the younger members of the family. The older members can enjoy a challenging experience where they explore a castle and try and rid the world of Dracula once again. There are plenty of interesting characters in Castlevania Requiem Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood. There is also a lot of Castlevania history. I would love to see a larger Castlevania compilation like Capcom did with Mega Man.
