Coffee Crisis

Did you watch the Mega Cat Studios Unboxing Family Friendly Gaming did? If not, then please click here. Coffee Crisis is like Final Fight. Coffee Crisis is also a new video game released on a retro video game system. What is that system? The 16-bit Sega Genesis. Or you might know it as the Mega Drive if you are not in the United States of America. Coffee Crisis is a 16-bit video game.

Coffee Crisis has multiple modes available to families. They are 1P, 2P Co op, Options, Password, and Hall of Heroes. There are three difficulty settings in Coffee Crisis. They are Easy, Normal, and Metal. The main bad guys in Coffee Crisis are aliens. They are stealing our WiFi and now they want to steal our music. Coffee Crisis goes out of its way to insult and offend fans of country music. Were the writers trying to be funny?

There are short levels with really difficult enemies, there are longer levels with easier enemies, and there are mini games in Coffee Crisis. I never could figure out how to play the coffee drinking game in Coffee Crisis. The music in Coffee Crisis is meh in my opinion. There are some language issues and obvious bad language references in Coffee Crisis. There is also a six demon blend in Coffee Crisis.

Items are left after each enemy character is dropped. There are normal aliens, and human enemies in Coffee Crisis as well. The elderly characters were a bit odd to see. Items can spawn off the screen and you will not be able to get them. The screen scrolling in Coffee Crisis is like other games of this type. Which means you can expect cheap hits. If you play on easy mode you can expect infinite lives. I did not try the other difficulty settings.

I am pleased to see some new retro video games coming to the market. Family Friendly Gaming loves working in retro video games so it is neat to see games like Coffee Crisis come to the market. The price is okay in my opinion. We get a case, instruction manual, and cartridge. I wonder if Mega Cat Studios will be doing any Gameboy Advance video games in the future?
