Guard of Wonderland VR
SCORE: 61
Family Friendly Gaming is constantly transparent about what is
happening, and the obstacles we go through. I have quite the story to
tell you concerning Guard of Wonderland VR. This game is the first PC VR
video game we are reviewing. Ya'll know we showed the Oculus Rift in a
FFG Haul video and did an Unboxing video for it. Thank you for all of
your Youtube support Family Friendly Gaming Universe.
My dad installed Oculus Rift and went through the tutorial. I installed
Steam VR after installing Guard of Wonderland VR. This game would not
recognize our Oculus Rift. We spent all of our tech support budget
trying to make Guard of Wonderland VR work. Talk about wasting a lot of
money. Finally I decided to uninstall the Oculus Rift software and
reinstall it after a new advertiser came on board. Finally Guard of
Wonderland VR worked.
This game is a 1.7 gig download so make sure your Internet plan allows
for such a large download, and your machine has enough space on it.
Guard of Wonderland VR is sort of an interactive book with mild role
playing game elements. The VR in Guard of Wonderland VR disappointed me.
Yet plenty of PS4 VR games have disappointed us as well. We stand in one
place and read what characters have to say. Then we get in turn based
battles. Over and over again.
I was hoping Guard of Wonderland VR would tell the story of Alice in
Wonderland. Instead it give us characters who say things these
characters might say. The battle system consists of cutting, chopping,
and side stepping attacks. Pretty limited. There is some language issues
and the female characters are borderline enticement to lust. Graphically
the VR did not impress me very much.
Guard of Wonderland VR can be difficult if you keep missing. Plus we
carry our hearts through multiple battles. The music is cool in Guard of
Wonderland VR. The little song to let us know a battle is coming does
get old in the second chapter. The 2D characters does not scream VR to
me. Guard of Wonderland VR is an interesting idea that does not quite
hit on any note just right for me.
