Has-Been Heroes

I do not like Has-Been Heroes. I need to let you guys know that. This is not my kind of a video game. I despise the controls, and all of the odd religious teachings. The storyline of older retired heroes coming out of retirement is the one interesting part of this game. Pass on this game. Has-Been Heroes is not even worth five dollars.

Family Friendly Gaming could not trust GameTrust to succeed in providing us a reviewable copy. Not even a code that has no value to it. Now all of Family Friendly Gaming Universe is educated to their failures. Maybe they knew we would tell you guys this difficult game is not worth the price.

Has-Been Heroes has nice music and a good narrator voice. The issues families will have with Has-Been Heroes is blood, violence, ghosts, collecting souls, odd after-life beliefs, bad language, magic, undead, and more. Has-Been Heroes tries to be funny in an insulting way.

The controls in Has-Been Heroes are convoluted. There are three lines where the heroes are on the left. There are three lines where enemies can be on the right. We are moving toward one another. When the heroes gauge fills up they can attack. So we tap triangle (for the top line hero), and then ‘O’ for them to attack that line. If we want to the square line hero to attack his line we press square and then ‘O’. If you want the square hero to add to the attack of the triangle hero we press square, triangle, and then ‘O’. We have to keep the enemies on the right from reaching our heroes on the left. When a turn is over with you must press L1 to take the game off auto-pause.

The map screens in Has-Been Heroes are just as messed up. Press and hold the right stick whichever direction you want to go. While holding it press R1 to have your heroes run toward that location. I played Has-Been Heroes for a bit, stopped for a different game, and when I came back I had completely forgotten the controls. I had to go back through the tutorial to re-learn how to play Has-Been Heroes. This game is also extremely difficult, and not much fun. Enemies block a lot in Has-Been Heroes.
