Justice League
SCORE: 60
I took a few days off the day job to spend with the kids during the
Spring Break. This used to be an Easter break, but the schools moved it.
After taking them for some fun at a Dave and Busters we stopped by a
local retailer looking for a movie for the guys movie night. I saw
Justice League on DVD. It was a bit more than I normally like to spend
on movies. It was for a special time together so I purchased it.
Justice League gives us Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman,
and Superman. Justice League is similar to the New 52 start of the
Justice League. It is way different in other ways. First off Superman is
dead at the start of Justice League. Secondly we have no Green Lantern
on the Justice League. That feels really strange to me. Thankfully there
are some cool scenes in the credits. I look forward to the Legion of
Doom in an upcoming movie. I also look forward to Darkseid.
The issues families can have with Justice League is violence, lack of
attire, enticement to lust, bad language, and more. Justice League tries
to promote the Global Warming lie as truth. Holly Weird can not seem to
stop preaching their radical, deep leftist, extremely zealot far left
religious beliefs on this. At this point it is like dealing with a
toddler who has thrown his tantrum too long. Should have been done a
long time ago.
There are two characters in Justice League that are wrong on so many
levels. The Flash and Aquaman are both of these characters. They look
nothing like the comic books, and they act nothing like the characters
from the comic books. Why is it so hard for Holly Weird to cast
properly? This is strike two against this movie. I am warming up to Ben
Afleck as Batman. Cyborg is great, Wonder Woman is fine, and Superman is
okay.
There is an entire extra disc for the special features. Most of it is
rah-rah we are so awesome. There is some humor in Justice League. The
story in Justice League is predictable but enjoyable at the same time.
The past and the present come together in Justice League. The Amazons
look really weak in Justice League. Bows and arrows versus some kind of
a laser or pulse weapon makes me realize they need to upgrade.
