Kong Skull Island

Hopefully by now you are aware of the FFG Haul videos. Kong Skull Island is something that was shown in the first FFG Haul video. Go here to see the FFG Haul videos. We had some pretty low expectations for Kong Skull Island on DVD. I have to admit that Kong Skull Island did not even reach the low expectations we had for it. I knew little about this movie. Now I wish I knew nothing about it. Stay far away from Kong Skull Island.

The issues families can have with Kong Skull Island are blood, violence, lack of attire, enticement to lust, anti-military, anti-human, bad language, and more. The annoying and evil protestors from the 1960s are shown in Kong Skull Island. The attacks on the Vietnam war are also shown in Kong Skull Island. They are Holly Weird justified of course. The lack of reality from Holly Weird continues.

There are too many convenient plot holes in Kong Skull Island. The story itself was horrible. At the end of the Vietnam War a group of scientists and military personnel go on an expedition to Skull Island. There they run into Kong. There are also other giant animals on this island. Humans are made to look small in every fashion possible in Kong Skull Island. Animals are made to look superior in Kong Skull Island. No wonder animal rights activists act so crazy, they watch propaganda like this movie.

Kong Skull Island made me realize something really important. You know the chant: "War what is it is good for?" It dawned on me while writing this review that there have been numerous technological advancements thanks to war. Reality and anti-war protestors have been far from one another for a very long time. The next time you run across one of those radicals make that point. I am sure they will celebrate your diversity, and cherish your sharing.

It took 118 minutes to watch Kong Skull Island on DVD. It was painful and predictable in so many ways. I did like the very end of Kong Skull Island where the guy trapped since World War II made it home to America. The Cubs recently won the World Series again so he can be happy about that. Of course it took him a few more decades to see that since this movie was during the Nixon administration.
