A digital download code was provided to Family Friendly Gaming for
Little Dragon's Café on the Playstation 4 (PS4). This cute little game
is also available on the Nintendo Switch. Little Dragon's Café is
available in the respected physical copy format as well. Thankfully
Little Dragon's Café is only a 750 meg download. Pretty small for a game
where we collect ingredients and make recipes.
Little Dragon's Café has extremely distinctive graphics. The best way to
describe them are like Blue's Clues. Where it looks like someone colored
the background with crayon. The someone we are talking about might have
started school. The graphics in Little Dragon's Café threw me for a
loop. I was not expecting that and my reaction to it was negative. Maybe
it is your cup of tea.
The music in Little Dragon's Café is fantastic. Unfortunately there is
bad language in Little Dragon's Café. Why was that included? It does not
help this game. In fact it hurts it. There are also some questionable
translations to. Like what? How about egg bird for example? Little
Dragon's Café is a bright and colorful game with some interesting
storyline elements to it.
Little Dragon's Café starts out with the mother going into a deep sleep.
In order to save her we must raise a dragon. Then we get into a routine
collecting ingredients, finding recipes, and running the cafe. We also
get to "hire" certain characters to assist with the cafe. The dragon
will grow and gain new powers in Little Dragon's Café. Things like
flight become very important in reaching certain areas.
Little Dragon's Café includes numerous characters that will offend many
American families. We have wizards, ghosts, witches, monsters, fortune
tellers, and more. I love being able to instantly return to the cafe by
pressing down on the D-pad. The core element of Little Dragon's Café is
good and fun. Some of the characters we must interact with are extreme
and scary.
