Rainbow Skies
SCORE: 64
Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital
download code for Rainbow Skies on the Playstation 4. This game is a 5.2
gig download. So make sure your gaming system has enough memory to hold
such a large game. Also make sure your Internet plan allows for such a
large download. Thankfully families are able to purchase a physical copy
of Rainbow Skies. If we are provided one then we will do one of our
extremely popular and wide reaching unboxing videos.
The issues families can have with Rainbow Skies is bad language,
alcohol, insults, violence, lack of attire, enticement to lust, magic,
violence, false gods, and more. The controls in this isometric looking
game can be a bit touchy. If you move the wrong direction you are stuck
with that motion. I was not able to find an undo move command. I would
get confused on the controls and lose a turn.
Rainbow Skies has an interesting story and a really weird fantasy world.
We are limited on how many items we can carry. Torches are needed for
dungeons to see properly. They will run out after so much time. There is
a lot of dialogue in Rainbow Skies. It can be skipped but then you may
miss a really important story element. I love how so many enemies will
drop bags. Those bags can be barriers to protect you from the enemies.
I love how early on Rainbow Skies pretends like the game was over. At
first I was like that was short. Then I was like that is cool that I am
now done with this game. Then it let me know the trick it played on me.
Why are so many characters so salty in Rainbow Skies? Expect to grind
some in Rainbow Skies, even on the easiest difficulty setting. We are
almost always out numbered in each of the battles in Rainbow Skies.
Healers are important in Rainbow Skies since we do not automatically
heal after each battle. I learned easy strategies to win battles in
Rainbow Skies. I also found ways to lose battles in Rainbow Skies.
Rainbow Skies is an interesting turn based strategy role playing game. I
wish Rainbow Skies had less bad content though. Much of the bad content
was not needed in my opinion.
