Family Friendly Gaming was offered a digital download code for Real
Farm on the PC and PS4. We returned the digital download code for the
PC, and played Real Farm on the PS4. I had some real high hopes and
expectations for Real Farm. I love the Farming Simulator franchise. The
thought of another farming game competing with Farming Simulator seemed
like an awesome idea.
Real Farm needs to improve in future releases. There are bugs and
glitches that are annoying. I walked right through cars on the road in
Real Farm. Not very realistic. The download size for Real Farm is just
under four gigs. Thankfully there are physical copy versions of Real
Farm so families can go that route. Real Farm feels a bit slower than
Farming Simulator and does not have as much to do.
I like how Real Farm looks. It looks really nice. Real Farm also sounds
really good too. The music in this farming video game was cool to listen
to. It can be difficult to figure out where to go in Real Farm. Look
around until you see a blue light highlighting an area. Then you need to
go there. I had to direct my dad when he first tried to play Real Farm.
He ran into trees, and went the wrong direction multiple times.
I see potential in Real Farm. I do like the Farming Simulator franchise
better. Real Farm has three modes in it. The three modes in Real Farm
are easy, normal, and hard. Families can play Real Farm in career or
free modes. Play the tutorial in Real Farm to learn the controls. They
are not intuitive, nor are they easy to pick up. After playing the
tutorial you should understand how to play Real Farm.
The real time economy is interested in Real Farm. The main things we do
in Real Farm is keep livestock, and grow crops. If Real Farm was
competing against Farming Simulator from five or six years ago then it
might have a chance. Farming Simulator has surpassed where Real Farm is.
I would love to see another Real Farm video game come out in a year or
two with all kinds of improvements. Hopefully that will happen and it
will get closer to the current king of this genre.
