Robinson The Journey

I am thankful Family Friendly Gaming purchased a copy of Robinson The Journey on the PS4 VR. A normal PS4 controller is used to control the character in Virtual Reality. Robinson The Journey also uses eye or head tracking. So like on the menu screens we look at what we want and then it highlights. From there we hit a button to select it.

Robinson The Journey gave me fits in so many arenas. I believe this game should be rated E10+ at a minimum thanks to the violence, and bad language. This is certainly not a game for six year olds. Robinson The Journey got me nauseated from playing it. Moving around is a bit of a pain and those shifts can be problematic.

Robinson The Journey tries to move the player around slowly. It helped with getting sick from the game a little bit. There are directions on what to do, but not always how to do them. I got stuck multiple times in this short video game. The controls in Robinson The Journey are very clunky. We have a pet dinosaur that helps us out in Robinson The Journey too.

I like the music and the verbal directions from our HIGS unit. We can levitate items for a variety of purposes in Robinson The Journey. The graphics are fantastic, and that includes the violent content in Robinson The Journey. We are on a planet (Tyson III) with dinosaurs. There are plenty of dangers for the player in Robinson The Journey. There are also plenty of puzzles to be solved.

Robinson The Journey is very overpriced at this point in time for the length of the game. Which is a real shame. If the controls had been better Robinson The Journey could have been a decent little virtual reality video game. Wait for Robinson The Journey to come down to ten dollars before buying.
