I am thankful Beatshapers sent Family Friendly Gaming a digital
download code for StarDrone VR on the Playstation 4 VR. This action
puzzle game looks good in VR. I have seen better looking VR games.
StarDrone VR did not get me sick once and that is pretty important to me
in a virtual reality video game. Especially one on the PS4. Call me
picky about that. I like games that do not make me physically ill.
The music in StarDrone VR is fantastic. I loved listening to it while
slinging around my vehicle in these levels. What is it that we do in
StarDrone VR? We launch our vehicle and then grapple onto certain
objects to change our trajectory. Speed and distance are very important
in StarDrone VR. Especially when you vehicle can only touch so many
spikes before disintegrating.
Our vehicle must go over certain objects in a certain order to complete
specific levels. There are other levels that require us to get to the
end location area. I learned that early on while playing StarDrone VR on
the PS4 VR. I went through the level and had not gone over all of the
stars or arrows. I then had to go back and get them. After that I worked
my way back to the end where I could finally exit the level. Slow and
steady wins the race in StarDrone VR.
StarDrone VR has bright colors on a black backdrop. The VR is mainly
used to point at which object you want to grapple off of. How do we
point in StarDrone VR? With our heads in the VR headsets. Pretty simple
actually. The more I did it the better I got at it. Certain levels
require a certain number of previous levels to have been beaten before
they unlock. It is smart to take each level, one at a time.
It is neat to see more VR video games getting released. Our PS4 VR is
not used a lot these days. So it is cool to have another game that
allows us to dust it off. It is also neat to see smaller developers
trying their hands at developing VR video games. It was a rockish
pleasure for me to play and review StarDrone VR on the Playstation 4 VR.
I hope to see more games like this one in the future.
