Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition

After the PR and Marketing representing this game failed us, I decided FFG should purchase it for a review. I had high hopes for Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition. I was hoping for a good, clean, farming game. Sadly Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition is not what I thought it would be. Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition teaches worshipping false idols, and it attacks Biblical marriage. Why can’t we have one new clean farming game?

Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition looks like a 16-bit 3D Terraria farming game. We kicked around all kinds of pet names for this crafting, farming, mining, monster battling video game. There are thirty residents in Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition. Some of them can be wooed into marriage. The music is nice in this indie graphics video game that does not even meet Nintendo DS Harvest Moon game graphics.

Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition has violence and blood as we run into monsters in places like the mines. They take a lot of hit to kill too. I love the concept of leaving the corporate world to go out and live in the country. There are also some mini games in Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition that also have violent content. Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition has a saloon where characters congregate to drink their troubles away.

Players can fish and take care of animals in Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition. The area is pretty trashed when you get there so you will need to clear it out. That takes multiple days since there is a stamina bar for your character. Items are put into a box to be sold. Then at the end of each day you will get paid for them. At the end of the day is also when Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition saves the game.

Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition removes Christian references and replaces it with false idol worship. Why? What is so difficult about having a church with a pastor or priest? This blatant discrimination against Christians hurts this game in a country where the super majority claim to be Christian. I guess they want less sales. I can not recommend this game. I wish it were better than it is.
