The Americans Season One
SCORE: 49
Hopefully you know the drill by now. The Americans Season One was
covered in the
FFG Haul videos. This is a suspense television show where two
undercover KGB agents work for Russia while living in the United States
in the Reagan administration. There is all kinds of lies, deceit, and
almost caught moments.
The couple in The Americans Season One that is the main focus is lying
to their friends, and their own kids. Marriage is shown in a horrible
light in The Americans Season One. In fact the level of cheating in The
Americans Season One is way too high. The woman cheats multiple times
and the marriage is worked on again. The man cheats once and the
marriage is put into separation status. Which really hurts the kids.
The issues families will have with The Americans Season One is lack of
attire, enticement to lust, sex outside marriage, bad language,
violence, blood, death, murder, rape, assassinations, slow murders,
nudity, lies, deceit, adultery, attacks on Christians, threats, and
more. The 572 minutes of the The Americans Season One are way darker
than I thought it would be.
We see The Americans Season One from the viewpoint of two sides. One is
the KGB agents, and the other is the FBI. The FBI is made to look
horrible in The Americans Season One. The sympathy card is played for
the Russians in The Americans Season One over and over again. Is Holly
Weird colluding with the Russians? The Americans Season One makes me
think so.
In the first episode of The Americans Season One the agents seriously
consider defecting to the United States. That changes as the season
progresses. It seems like that plot line was forgotten and lost. In fact
their resolve to serve Russia gets stronger. I am not sure why. I also
noticed certain motives of certain people make little to no sense at
specific points in time. I do not plan on purchasing any more seasons of
this show.
