It takes 86 minutes to watch The Emoji Movie. I purchased the Blu-ray +
Digital version of the The Emoji Movie. I heard a lot of bad things
about this movie.
I must admit I am pleasantly surprised with The Emoji Movie. This movie
is way better than I expected. The Emoji Movie is also way better than I
had heard. The Emoji Movie is cute, and generally family friendly. There
is some rude humor and a few misleading things. The story in The Emoji
Movie is very interesting. There is some depth to The Emoji Movie that I
was not expecting.
What is your purpose? How has God designed you? Have you found your
purpose in life? The Emoji Movie touches on this concept. A meh emoji
(Gene) wants to feel useful. He wants to participate. There is one small
problem though. He is much more than a meh emoji. He can make other
emoji faces. At first I thought maybe he was a random emoji. Later I
learned the full truth. You will have to watch it to find that truth.
The Emoji Movie touches on cell phone addiction, and shortening
attention spans. The more technology does for us the less we want to do
for ourselves. Unless you have a strong will and desire to be self
reliant. There is plenty of funny moments in this movie that has good
voice acting. I also enjoyed a lot of the music in The Emoji Movie. The
horrible thing that can happen to you is if you are deleted.
Gene goes on an interesting adventure in The Emoji Movie inside a phone.
He has to work his wave to the cloud to get reprogrammed. SPOILER ALERT!
Once Gene makes it there he realizes he does not want to be forced to be
just a meh. He wants more out of life. He becomes a gif emoji with
multiple faces that explains how his user feels. Gene winds up saving
the day for everyone in the phone. I am glad I gave The Emoji Movie a
chance. This is a fun little movie.
