The Fate of the Furious

The Fate of the Furious is another Black Friday movie featured in the first FFG Haul video. For more information please click here. Our family had actually seen The Fate of the Furious before. We have also seen all of the other Fast and Furious movies. So I knew what we were getting generally. I also knew I wanted to find this movie on Black Friday 2017 because I like having physical copies of movies.

The version of The Fate of the Furious that I purchased was the Blu-ray + DVD + Digital HD version. For an action packed movie there are some interesting things that happen in The Fate of the Furious. Especially if you know the characters and their focus on family. The Fate of the Furious even has a saving grace. They pray before a meal together. That is great to see in a movie.

The issues families can have with The Fate of the Furious are violence, blood, death, explosions, deceit, lies, bad language, hatred, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more. There is a scary part in The Fate of the Furious where cars are being hacked and driven by the bad people. It reminds me why I do not want cars having that level of technology in them. Do you agree? Or do you disagree?

The storyline in The Fate of the Furious is pretty interesting. Dom finds out he has a son born out of wedlock. That is used as leverage against him to betray his family, team, and friends. He then winds up being a bad guy and helping the villains with their plans. SPOILER ALERT! What we don't know at first is Dom is working with some spooks to get his son safe so he can turn on the bad lady Cipher.

The series has been escalating the kinds of things they have to take down. Tanks, monster airplanes and more have been in previous films. The Fate of the Furious gives us a chase on the ice with a submarine coming after them. The bonus content in The Fate of the Furious is The Cuban Spirit, In the Family, Car Culture, All About the Stunts, Extended Fight Scenes, and Feature Commentary by the Director.

The Fate of the Furious is action packed. I have seen this movie multiple times. I wish some of the bad language was not in this movie. Dwayne Johnson is one of the worst in terms of language. I wish he would mature past that. There are some unrealistic fight scenes in The Fate of the Furious. If you like a lot of action with some confusing mystery then The Fate of the Furious is a movie to check out. The Fate of the Furious is not for children though.
