It is absolutely awesome to see certain franchises grow and improve
over the years. Take The Golf Club 2019 for example. This franchise
started really glitchy in alpha and then beta. It has steadily gotten
better over the years. Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital
download code for The Golf Club 2019 on the Xbox One. A physical copy is
also supposed to arrive.
The Golf Club 2019 is a large game. It is a 6.19 gig download and
installation. This is one of the reasons we always recommend families
get a physical copy of games. Plus a physical copy should not expire
like many download codes do. The loading is also a bit on the long side.
Playing off of disc is faster. Thankfully we are rewarded for our
patience once we get inside The Golf Club 2019. This game looks
gorgeous.
I am getting into the announcer in The Golf Club 2019. Especially in PGA
Tour Mode. The modes in The Golf Club 2019 are Play Now, PGA Tour Mode,
Edit Golfer, Manage Part, Settings, Go Offline, and Change Profile. We
can still create our own courses in The Golf Club 2019. There are real
and genuine PGA courses in The Golf Club 2019 too. Enough to keep Family
Friendly Gaming happy.
The announcer is back and is a bit better in The Golf Club 2019. He will
still make mistakes and then correct himself as the ball goes off the
fairway into the rough. The forced tutorial shows all kinds of different
ways to hit the ball, and how we can change our shots. I love leveling
up in The Golf Club 2019. There are all kinds of customizations from
clubs to courses to the character.
The one issue we have with The Golf Club 2019 here at Family Friendly
Gaming is the controls. I wish there was some casual control scheme
included. Something that works better than the left stick of the right
stick. I also would like some putting guide on very easy mode. Something
that shows where the ball will go based on the slope. Putting is still a
guessing game in The Golf Club 2019. More often I would mess up and it
would take another shot or two to get in the hole. The Golf Club 2019 is
a bit better than past games though.
Will Family Friendly Gaming do videos of The Golf Club 2019? Our
fearless leader is trying to get a legal understanding. In the past HB
Studios was cool with videos and monetization so we could maybe get paid
for our hard work. Now that 2K is the publisher that confuses things
because they have a highly offensive and very controversial stance on
video monetization. They think we should work for them for free and not
ever get paid. Where will The Golf Club 2019 fall?
