The Greatest Showman
SCORE: 63
For decades I have voiced my disapproval of the extreme radicals on
the far left constantly trying to redefine things. History is one of
those things they are really keen on redefining. Which irritates me to
no end. The Greatest Showman is a prime example. There is all kinds of
rich history in relation to PT Barnum. Could Hollywood get it right? Of
course not. They have to preach their extremely radical far leftists
views and change things.
The protege and the trapeze artist were fictional characters. PT Barnum
did not get let go of a desk job before starting to be a showman. His
Museum did burn down but from his pro Union views. The Greatest Showman
is definitely part of the war on white people. The Greatest Showman is
also part of the war on conservatives and Christians. There is no
evidence there were protest against his freak show. PT Barnum did not
get romantically involved with the opera singer, and his wife never left
him.
The Greatest Showman tries to tell us that PT Barnum was a champion of
tolerance and diversity. In reality he was trying to make a buck. He
found whatever he could that would bring in people. He was also much
older than Hugh Jackman when he started this endeavor. I don't mind this
movie being a musical. I do mind the lack of historical accuracy. The
Greatest Showman can not be accurately labeled a Biography. Anyone doing
that is not in touch with reality.
There is a deep divide between the rich and the poor in The Greatest
Showman. This movie shows PT Barnum reaching the poor, but wanting to
reach the rich. The Greatest Showman teaches the viewers to be proud of
who you are, not matter what you are (one exception is if you are white
and rich). The Greatest Showman barely touches on the tent, and does not
even mention the three ring aspect of the circus.
There is only one song in The Greatest Showman that remotely interested
me. That song was the first song in the movie. After that the rest of
the music in The Greatest Showman fell flat for me. The issues families
can have are lack of attire, enticement to lust, violence, and more. The
Greatest Showman is a typical Holly Weird movie that shows what they
value, and who they hate.
