Back in 1995

My dad showed me the original Resident Evil video game on the Playstation. He let me play the original Resident Evil game on the original Playstation. How did anyone call that game good? It was and still is horrible. Why do I tell you this in the review for Back in 1995? This game is close to Resident Evil. The control scheme is similar, the graphics are similar, and it agitates me to no end.

The issues families will have are blood, violence, alcohol, tobacco, offensive jokes, bad language, and more. The controls in Back in 1995 are horrible. We have to press left or right to turn which way we face. There is a nasty lag before an attack launches. The collision detection is questionable. The camera is fixed and in bad places many times. I also found Back in 1995 to be hard. I could get painkillers to heal but never saw my health.

The story and direction in Back in 1995 are vague at best. What is going on? Why is it happening? After a few areas I stopped caring. Back in 1995 is a survival horror game that may reach some nostalgic gamers. I am definitely not the audience for Back in 1995. I do not think families are the audience for Back in 1995. Do you miss tank controls? Back in 1995 is definitely retro in that fashion.

The voice acting in Back in 1995 is horrible. I am sorry but that is my honest assessment. They could have gotten so many other people to put some real emotion into it. The grainy graphics in Back in 1995 gave me a migraine. Back in 1995 is an 87 meg download. Man 3D games back in the day did not require a lot of memory. Back in 1995 includes clues that make the second play through a bit easier. If you remember where things are hidden.

Back in 1995 is provided in the digital only format. There are no physical copies of Back in 1995 at this point in time. I cannot recommend Back in 1995 to Family Friendly Gaming Universe. I don’t mind retro games when they make sense. I like it when game developers take a retro concept and improve upon it. Back in 1995 is not at the level Resident Evil was. You already know how I feel about that game.
