Bee Simulator

I had some idea what to expect from Bee Simulator on the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 (PS4), Xbox One, and Personal Computer (PC). I am thankful Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Bee Simulator on the Nintendo Switch. Every single video game teaches us something. Game developers openly admit when they are overt about the lessons they want to impart.

What does Bee Simulator teach? Mainly this game is an education on bees. Bee Simulator comes from the stand point that bees need our help and we must intervene to save them. Bee Simulator also teaches the Old Earth theory which could be extremely controversial in many circles. I was concerned Bee Simulator would be extremely radical on the far zealot left since that is how too many video game companies are going. Moderates and conservatives will find controversial content within Bee Simulator.

Bee Simulator looks nice as long as you are not in the freaky bee vision view. The voice acting sounded like it was coming from a can with an echo. Flying is a bit weird in Bee Simulator. The controls make sense. The issue I had with the controls in Bee Simulator is what happens when we run into something. Either we stop cold, or bounce off of it. Hitting a little river and bouncing back up was really weird. Plus at times it feels odd flying. Like we are not actually moving.

Bee Simulator does not feel much like a simulator to me. Say we try to sting something or someone. We do not lose our stinger and die like a real bee would. Plus when it comes to people they have no reaction. There are a variety of missions to go on in Bee Simulator. We learn about bees while going on these missions. Bee Simulator tries to show what bees go through normally. Bee Simulator hits the high notes but leaves out too much for my tastes.

I have a ton of hope and interest in Bee Simulator. I wish the political and highly divisive content had been left out of Bee Simulator. It bothers me when a theory like Old Earth is preached like it is fact when it has not been scientifically proven. There are plenty of scientific facts that point to Young Earth as being the scientific truth. I am guessing this was not even considered while this game was being made.
