I am so stoked about BoxVR on multiple
fronts. First and foremost this is a boxing exercise cardio video game
in virtual reality. Second, BoxVR is on the PS4 VR. Third, BoxVR comes
in the much sought after physical copy format. Finally, BoxVR came into
Family Friendly Gaming. All of those were swirling in my head just
before I did a
Twitch stream of this game. I got quite a work out thanks to BoxVR.
I learned something extremely important when I played BoxVR. Start with
the easy short classes first. Families can also create their very own
work outs in BoxVR. The speed of BoxVR caught me off guard at first. I
had to be quick to hit those left and rights. At times I thought I did
hit them, but the game did not register it. I love how BoxVR shows us to
come from the sides (hooks), or from below (uppercuts).
There is a variety of music (over one hundred different tracks) that
plays while we are cardio boxing training in BoxVR. Some of it can
contain lyrics that are offensive to you and your family. I noticed some
NF songs that really pumped me up. Two PS Move controllers are needed to
play BoxVR on the PS4 VR. BoxVR will track how much you exercise and how
many calories you burn while playing this game.
BoxVR is just what virtual reality on the PS4 needed. I love exercise
video games, and BoxVR is great use of the technology. Family Friendly
Gaming has asked for sports related games in VR and BoxVR is the closest
thing I have seen thus far. I loved playing BoxVR. I never got sick
while playing BoxVR. In fact I felt great after playing BoxVR in virtual
reality. This is the first VR game that made me feel that way.
I hope Family Friendly Gaming Universe supports BoxVR. This is the kind
of a VR game we all need. BoxVR makes exercise fun. I already enjoy
getting work outs. I see BoxVR is a great game for people who are not
all in for working out. Families will definitely get their moneys worth
out BoxVR. It was a pleasure and an honor for me to play and review
BoxVR on the Playstation 4 Virtual Reality.
