Dance Dance Revolution
SCORE: 68
I like how Dance Dance Revolution started
the video game exercise craze. I am not a fan of some of the collision
detection in Dance Dance Revolution. I would step on the right arrow and
nothing happened on the screen. I also found if I got off on the first
arrow in a series I would miss many of the others. Dance Dance
Revolution can be played with a controller which defeats the whole
exercise purpose.
Graphically Dance Dance Revolution did not impress me. The music did not
impress me much either. The song set in Dance Dance Revolution is more
techno. I am not sure if offensive words were present in Dance Dance
Revolution or not. I am not a fan of the three song set format. Dance
Dance Revolution does have different modes and enough songs to keep most
dancers busy for a few weeks.
Dance pads easily slip around on the floor. Why is this a problem?
Imagine trying to step perfectly on the dance pad while it moves around.
We have to look at the screen and not the floor. That led to more
frustration than anything else. I am glad that Dance Dance Revolution
franchise continued long after this game. I would love for a Dance Dance
Revolution to be made with a Christian song list.
