Dark Quest 2
SCORE: 64
Brain Seal Entertainment provided Family Friendly Gaming a digital
download code for Dark Quest 2 on the Nintendo Switch. This downloadable
title can also be found on Steam. Dark Quest 2 is a 1.5 gig download in
case your family needs to know. Not everyone will have enough available
memory to download a game this large. Which seems funny to say compared
to other video games that are even larger. The Switch is not known for
having a lot of memory included.
The issues families can have with Dark Quest 2 are violence, blood,
magic, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more. The controls in
Dark Quest 2 are a bit clumsy. Dark Quest 2 looks like a strategy based
role playing game. However your characters can walk all around the room
and attack whatever enemies are in that room. There are also special
items in Dark Quest 2 that have random effects.
The music in Dark Quest 2 is fantastic. There is also voice acting in
Dark Quest 2. The animations are a bit herkie jerky. The graphics look
okay. There are definitely better looking Nintendo Switch video games.
The character models look really good. The enemies go from alive to
skeletons. Be careful of traps in Dark Quest 2. As players progress they
can add other characters to their party. There are also upgrades based
on blue bottles that are found in the dungeons.
The storyline in Dark Quest 2 revolves around an evil wizard who
slaughtered the people in a castle. Players are a warrior on a quest to
take down this evil wizard. Dark Quest 2 has multiple difficulties and
it starts with a tutorial. Dark Quest 2 gets progressively more
difficult as the players progress through the dungeons. We must find the
way out and some of these areas are mazes with secret doors.
Dark Quest 2 is a challenging role playing game where older members of
the family can enjoy. Once you kill all of the enemies in a room and
come back they do not respawn. I really appreciate that. Dark Quest 2
will make you explore to find the blue bottles and the exit. I wish the
controls were a bit better in Dark Quest 2. That is my biggest issue
with this game.
