Forza Horizon 4
SCORE: 82
Maybe I was wrong by asking for another
Forza Horizon so quickly after Forza Horizon 3 was released. Playing
Forza Horizon 4 feels the same as the last game. This time we are in the
UK. This is the third straight Forza Horizon video game where we drive
on the wrong side of the road. Okay the left side of the road. Why
hasn’t the series been brought back to America? I guess we have The Crew
franchise for that.
Forza Horizon 4 looks good and there are now seasons to mess with. In
some ways this allows the game developer to be a bit lazy. They just
mildly change the same map for the four seasons. Is spring and autumn
really that different? Winter is the only one that really feels
different to me. I am doing a video series of this game which you can
check out right
here.
I turn off the music so I am not sure if offensive music from the
previous games is included in Forza Horizon 4. I don’t know if this is
more ESRB corruption or if the franchise was actually improved for
families. I paid for half of Forza Horizon 4 and Family Friendly Gaming
paid the other half. The PR and Marketing people for this game failed
FFG Universe totally and completely. I guess they want no sales from FFG
Universe ever. That is how I respond to their multiple failures. Do you
agree?
Forza Horizon 4 tries to give us a bit of a story. Whatever we wind up
racing we also level up. That means we can do more street races, or off
road races if that is what we want. The spin wheel can now have three
items won at a time. The obnoxious thing is we can win clothing and
emotes. To me that is a complete waste of a spin wheel win. We skill
level up cars now. So the more you use a certain car the better you can
get that car.
I may sound a bit down on Forza Horizon 4. I enjoyed my time with this
game. I feel Forza Horizon 4 is worth forty dollars brand new. If you
enjoy racing, seeing cool areas, finding signs then you can get into
Forza Horizon 4. The races can get a bit monotonous. I like the other
stuff in Forza Horizon 4 like danger signs. I hope you enjoy the videos
I did of this game.
