Ghost Giant

I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Ghost Giant on the PS4 VR. This is one amazing looking virtual reality video game. On top of that the story can draw you in and emotionally sways you. It is nice to see video game developers work on emotional aspects of gaming on top of the rest of it. There are a few concerns over this video game as well.

I am not that big on playing a ghost in Ghost Giant. It felt weird and wrong on so many levels. I understand that it is integral to the story line and how we interact with different characters. There are some moments of peril in this video game as well. Before I forget Ghost Giant does come in the well respected physical copy version for the millions of families within that movement.

Ghost Giant is 2.4 gigs in terms of download size. I never know which families will need to know how much disk space is needed for a game. Ghost Giant is a shorter experience so it will not need to stay on your device too terribly long. We help out an animal character in a variety of ways in Ghost Giant. It is interesting to see what objects we can interact with and which ones we can not.

I had to think about some of the puzzles in Ghost Giant. Thankfully we can poke the little animal guy for a hint. I also learned to look around. Sometimes Ghost Giant would show me where something needed to go with a blue outline for the object. The music in Ghost Giant is very emotional though out the entire video game. I enjoyed my time with this game.

We have limited things we can do in Ghost Giant. We can poke objects, and grab certain objects. I noticed what we can interact with and when is determined by the game. Other times just poking some character is not enough. We might need to remove rocks first for example. We might move a car to the wrong hill, or the wrong spot on the hill. There are nuances in Ghost Giant that take time to learn.

Episodes are pretty short in Ghost Giant thankfully. We do a few things, learn some things and complete a little area. It is easy to move left and right in Ghost Giant with the X and O buttons. I hope to see more games like Ghost Giant in the near future. The virtual reality nature of Ghost Giant makes this video game an experience. It was a pleasure to play and review Ghost Giant.
