Hoggy2

I am so thankful Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital downloadable copy of Hoggy2 on the Nintendo Switch. If we receive copies on the PS4 and PS Vita then we will offer them to our wonderful followers on Twitch that send us a whisper with which system they want it on. Hoggy2 is provided in the downloadable only format in the United States.

This slime based video game is more of an action puzzler than anything else. There are more than two hundred levels in Hoggy2. We go into these jars and eat all of the fruit. We can play Hoggy2 in the normal or kids mode. Hoggy2 also lets families create their own levels. When we eat all of the fruit in a level then we get a key. Keys are used to open doors in Hoggy2.

Each level in Hoggy2 has a path to completion. We might need to knock blocks in a certain spot, or have an enemy destroy all of the bombs for us. As we progress through levels in Hoggy2 they become more difficult. I had to think about how certain characters move to knock away the blocks for me. The main game play mechanic in Hoggy2 is to jump from the floor to the ceiling.

Hoggy2 looks nice, and it sounds nice. I noticed Hoggy2 uses certain sounds from other games. The fruit eating sound is just like what is in Pac-Man. I did not place some of the other sounds but they felt familiar as well. Hoggy2 is a small download at two hundred and four megabytes. I had fun playing Hoggy2 on the Nintendo Switch.

This is one of those video games that needs to appear in the physical copy format. The kids being stolen by these aliens explained why we were going through all of this work. Parents are working hard to get their kids back. I appreciate that kind of a storyline. I hope to see more games like Hoggy2 in the near future. It was a pleasure to play and review this game.
