Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom
SCORE: 60
We had a fascinating debate here at Family
Friendly Gaming whether Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom is a horror film
or not. There is plenty of darkness, death, screaming, chases, and more
in Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. Does that make it a horror film? You
can discuss it yourselves if you feel like it. I feel that Jurassic
World Fallen Kingdom is borderline horror. There are action adventure,
and science fiction elements. There are also horror elements. A hybrid
perhaps.
Noah had wanted to see Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom in the theaters so
I gave him a choice of me, or his mother as his chaperone. He chose me.
So I got to see Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom in the theaters. It was
nice to watch it at home. I remembered the main plot points and what was
coming next watching Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom at home. Noah
actually forgot a lot of key points.
Jeff Goldblum returns to this franchise to lecture us on technology,
advancements and global change. Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom gets a bit
preachy on how horrible humans are. The dinosaurs are going to go
extinct again because a volcano is going to explode. I figure a few
could actually survive. Congress decides not to intervene. An extremely
rich man decides differently and funds a move of the animals to a new
island.
SPOILER ALERT! There is deception from the gentleman who manages the
rich man's estate and he decides to bring them back to the US and sell
them. They wind up getting released onto our continent. Which is a
really bad thing. Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom tries to make it look
like a wonderful and noble thing that was done. Holly Weird cares more
about animals than people. Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom is a perfect
example of that.
It takes two hours and nine minutes to watch Jurassic World Fallen
Kingdom. The bonus features are On Set with Chris & Bryce, Death by
Dino, Birth of the indoraptor, rooftop showdown, Monster in a Mansion,
Malcolm's Return, and More. I value this movie at five dollars brand
new. Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom has some fun action moments. There is
plenty of blood, bad language, and gore though. Jurassic World Fallen
Kingdom promotes the Old Earth theory.
