Minecraft Story Mode Season Two
SCORE: 75
I am thankful Family Friendly Gaming
purchased a copy of Minecraft Story Mode Season Two on the Playstation
4. This retail version of the game contains all five episodes. The first
episode is on the disc and the other four episodes must be downloaded to
the hard drive. Jesse and his friends are back in Minecraft Story Mode
Season Two. They have all new adventures and stories in this game.
I can’t help but think the failures of the PR and Marketing
representatives are part of the reason Telltale Games shut down. It is a
shame because their games were different and interesting. Sort of choose
your own adventures where you decide how to respond to situations. Do
you fight your way into the treasure room or do you sneak in? Do you
respond with encouragement or frustration when you find out a friend
lied to you.
There are quick time events in Minecraft Story Mode Season Two as well
as the deciding how to respond. There are also battle screens in
Minecraft Story Mode Season Two. On top of that we can walk around
certain areas before events trigger. This is rather limited though. The
battles in Minecraft Story Mode Season Two are clunky just like they
were in Minecraft Story Mode Season One.
When families start playing Minecraft Story Mode Season Two they can
continue their choices from the first season or start fresh. The
graphics in Minecraft Story Mode Season Two are just like Minecraft.
When we build things in Minecraft Story Mode Season Two it is painful.
The voice acting is good. I could have done without the bad language
though. Crafting is okay in this game.
Family Friendly Gaming sat on Minecraft Story Mode Season Two for quite
some time. It was a low priority for us. Minecraft Story Mode Season Two
has some charm to it. I value Minecraft Story Mode Season Two at ten
dollars. It has its moments. Be sure to download the other episodes
quickly before it is taken off the store. I wish all episodes came on
the disc.
