Newt One

If you watch our
Twitch streams or watch our
Youtube videos then you know all about Newt One on the PC, Xbox One,
and Nintendo Switch. This fun little action adventure platformer has
players bring color back to a fantasy world while enjoying some amazing
music. Family Friendly Gaming found this game as part of a video
sponsorship program. Once we did, we immediately fell in love with this
non-violent video game.
I only have two little quibbles in terms of Newt One. The first one is
that hop after the jump when the character lands. This does not work so
well when making those long jumps with the wings. This gets worse when
we are trying to land on small little platforms. The second quibble is
Newt One is a bit on the short side. I was having so much fun with Newt
One I did not want it to end.
Families can do more after finishing Newt One. They can get all of the
parrots, and 100% complete all of the levels. There are plenty of badges
to earn. As we collect musical notes we unlock additional attire.
Players can switch what they are wearing in Newt One easily. I like how
the character looks different with different sets of clothing. I had fun
playing Newt One as the streams and videos show.
The storyline in Newt One is a little strange. The player is part of an
elder who failed a test in the past. The odd thing is this elder was
somehow split into two different entities. I am not clear if the
religious teaching of reincarnation was being taught in Newt One or not.
The characters are generally very happy and encouraging to one another.
If you take your time you should be able to make your way through the
levels in Newt One.
There are so many cool little things in Newt One. The different colored
owls are wonderful in Newt One. I personally loved the snow owls. The
wands in Newt One make it easier to 100% the levels. There are three to
collect. Players can find one parrot per level in Newt One. I hope
Family Friendly Gaming supports this safe and fun colorful video game.
