Peasant Knight
SCORE: 60
Peasant Knight is a fascinating video game. I did not know what to
think of it at first. This downloadable only video game is like a
platform runner but it has a few differences. Peasant Knight is
definitely for the hardcore gamers. Casual gamers will become frustrated
with Peasant Knight very quickly. I did quite frequently. More on that
later.
The level starts and our retro looking knight runs to the right in the
retro looking levels. We can make him stop on certain spots. Why would
we want to stop our fun little Peasant Knight from running? When he is
on an elevator, or there is some danger right in front of him. The
biggest problem with stopping our Peasant Knight is we have a time limit
in each level. Wait too long and our little guy gets struck by
lightning.
Peasant Knight taught me to go fast and only pause briefly. I found
Peasant Knight to be extremely challenging. At times I would let my
little guy die over and over before composing myself to try again.
Peasant Knight can cause that much aggravation and stress. Maybe I am
just not good at this kind of a game. The speed is what really kills us
though.
It would have been great for a casual mode in Peasant Knight. Some money
making ideas that Family Friendly Gaming will never be compensated for
are: no level timer, slow down the knights running speed, and tutorial
mode after a player dies twenty-five times on a level. The music in
Peasant Knight is nice. We have some magical content with Peasant
Knight.
There are eighty levels in Peasant Knight. If you purchase and download
Peasant Knight then know you will have a challenge in front of you.
There is generally only one way to beat all of the levels in Peasant
Knight. Jumping in Peasant Knight can be a bit quirky at times. I was
positive I pressed the jump button at certain times only to see my
little guy fall of the edge.
