Reborn A Samurai Awakens
SCORE: 56
Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital
download code for Reborn A Samurai Awakens on the PS4 VR. This samurai
is resurrected to fight all these other robots. We get two weapons in
Reborn A Samurai Awakens. We get a gun and a light saber. We can swap
between weapons very quickly in Reborn A Samurai Awakens. We can also
choose what weapon each hand will hold at any given time.
Reborn A Samurai Awakens is just over one gig in terms of download size.
We slice up a variety of robots in Reborn A Samurai Awakens. The enemies
in Reborn A Samurai Awakens can take a lot of damage as well. There are
not a lot of levels so expect a challenge from Reborn A Samurai Awakens
after the tutorial level. Moving around is required in certain parts of
this game. Players are given a move button as well.
My initial reaction to Reborn A Samurai Awakens was very positive. After
all knocking back laser shots with a light saber felt so Star Wars. At
first I thought this is the Jedi video game I have been waiting for.
Then I got into prolonged light saber battles with samurai robots. I
noticed some glitches. Shooting these robots made them go away and come
back rather quickly. Animations would get stuck and start over with. I
would block the attack and take damage anyways.
Walking around in Reborn A Samurai Awakens made me feel funny here and
there. I made sure to stand up while playing Reborn A Samurai Awakens on
the PS4 VR. That helped with the funny head feelings. We walk to certain
circles and that is where we battle the enemies. I was not able to move
around much while fighting. We can move a little to dodge attacks but
that is about it. I wanted to circle around enemies and get them from
behind.
We fight quite a few of the same looking robots in Reborn A Samurai
Awakens. Expect a real challenge when you fight off the bosses. One
thing that was lame about Reborn A Samurai Awakens is going all the way
through the level, blocking against the final boss character and the
game not registering the block. What happened? I instantly died and had
to completely replay the level to face the same glitch again.
