Twitch followers you know I did a stream of Steamworld Quest Hand of
Gilgamech on the Nintendo Switch. I have enjoyed the Steamworld games
for some time now. It is cool to see Image & Form Games create a role
playing game based on their fantasy universe. Family Friendly Gaming was
given a 454 meg digital download of Steamworld Quest Hand of Gilgamech.
I really hope there is a physical copy release of multiple Steamworld
games. Like a compilation.
We have similar graphics and animation in Steamworld Quest Hand of
Gilgamech that we have in other Steamworld games. There is a robotic
herky jerky motion to the characters. The character models are larger in
Steamworld Quest Hand of Gilgamech than previous Steamworld games. The
voice acting fits the theme when it is present. There is plenty to read
in Steamworld Quest Hand of Gilgamech.
The issues families will have with Steamworld Quest Hand of Gilgamech
are false gods, violence, and more. We use cards for our attacks in
Steamworld Quest Hand of Gilgamech. As we find new cards we can make
changes to our decks. Cards need so many gear points to be used. Certain
cards can only be used after certain other cards. With multiple
characters there are opportunities for different cards.
Expect to spend around twenty hours or more playing Steamworld Quest
Hand of Gilgamech on whichever difficulty you prefer. Steamworld Quest
Hand of Gilgamech is a one shot game with no side quests. We move along
the path in each of the chapters. There are some side areas to explore
to gain better cards and/or gear. There are also objects to destroy for
some extra gold.
I had fun playing Steamworld Quest Hand of Gilgamech. There are plenty
of comedy attempts in this downloadable only home console video game.
Some of them worked and some fell flat. I am pleased to see time went
into making Steamworld Quest Hand of Gilgamech last longer than most
modern made indie role playing games. The battles can get boring thanks
to the cards, but I accepted that.
