The Hip Hop Dance Experience

We continue to explore all kinds of dance related video games here at Family Friendly Gaming. The Hip Hop Dance Experience is one such video game. I knew this game would be much more controversial and offensive than most other dance games we have recorded here at Family Friendly Gaming. There are forty songs in this dance based video game. I am thankful Family Friendly Gaming had the money to purchase it on the Xbox 360.

The issues families will have with The Hip Hop Dance Experience are bad language, offensive songs, nudity, enticement to lust, sexual themes, sexual motions, alcohol, tobacco and more. The Hip Hop Dance Experience is my least favorite dance video game. I question the scoring and Kinect sensor collision detection on certain songs.

We can pick a male or female dancer in The Hip Hop Dance Experience. We are also able to change their outfits as we unlock content. This is where the main lack of attire comes into play. Certain characters we dance with could have dressed better. There are some really cool dance moves in The Hip Hop Dance Experience that I am not capable of doing - ever.

There is a certain motion to each of the dances in The Hip Hop Dance Experience. We dance, get a break, and dance some more. Certain longer songs have more than one break in them. If you consider purchasing The Hip Hop Dance Experience then I suggest you watch some of our videos first. They can be found here. You will sweat and lose some weight playing The Hip Hop Dance Experience.

Two family members can play The Hip Hop Dance Experience at the same time. You will need enough space though. Also if you play The Hip Hop Dance Experience on the Xbox 360 you will need a Kinect sensor. I find it very telling that we can get a The Hip Hop Dance Experience, but no Christian dance video game. Which is odd in a country where the super majority self identify as Christian.
