The Last Ship Season Five

The Last Ship Season Five is the final season of this show. Unfortunately the last ten episodes show it was rushed so the people behind it could move on to other projects. The Last Ship Season Five has so many problems that it is more fun discussing what is wrong with it more than enjoying the show. There are plenty of predictable outcomes in The Last Ship Season Five.

SPOILER ALERT! As I expected the Nathan James is sunk at the end of The Last Ship Season Five. Admiral Chandler comes close to death and choses life. I suspected he might die as well in The Last Ship Season Five. My suspicions were wrong. Columbia invades America and does a Pearl Harbor on us. Then their leader Tavo starts acting like Hitler. America regroups, fights back and eventually kills him.

The issues families will have with The Last Ship Season Five is heavy promotion of sexual deviancy, violence, blood, gore, bad language, lack of attire, enticement to lust, tarot cards, contacting spirits, and more. It took me 440 minutes to watch the ten episodes of The Last Ship Season Five. I hoped this show would go out on a high note. Sadly The Last Ship Season Five was more of a let down and I am glad it is done.

The Last Ship Season Five likes to repeat historical events. From the Pearl Harbor attack to the D-Day Landing. The more I thought about things the more I wondered why Columbia even attacked the US. They should have conquered everyone between us and then gone after the US. There I go with my knowledge of military strategy and history again. The Last Ship Season Five feels extremely rushed. There are moments of gore that feel out of place.

I still appreciate that The Last Ship Season Five is a different kind of a show. It reminded me of my own military service. It encouraged me with my own issues related to serving our country. The Last Ship Season Five shows how messed up war is. People get killed and maimed in The Last Ship Season Five. This is real. Definitely not for the younger members of the family.
