The Star

I did not know what to think of The Star before watching it. I knew it was a movie about the birth of Jesus Christ, and it would be taken from the animals viewpoint. Holly Weird has a long bad history of changing things, and giving an extreme radical far leftists viewpoint on everything. I had my concerns before watching The Star on DVD. I am thankful I had the money to purchase this movie.

There is one aspect of The Star I was not expecting. What is that one aspect? The Star is funny. I mean The Star is really funny. We laughed and laughed while we watched this movie. It takes eighty-six minutes to watch The Star on DVD. There is a ton of bonus content on the DVD of The Star. We get a sing-along, dance-along, lyric videos, commentary and more.

The Star does take some liberty with when things happen. The Star also glosses over and does not reference a few things that happened in the Holy Bible. At the end of the movie The Star admits it took liberty with some of the facts while trying to stay true to the story. I can accept that. I still feel it is my duty to point this out so your family does not take The Star to be gospel.

There are some scary moments in The Star. There are also moments of kindness, grace and mercy in The Star. The camels have some fun conversations that we can relate to in this day and age. I hope to see more movies like The Star in the future. I was pleasantly surprised in how much fun the animals were. I loved hearing them talk, and then their sounds when people were listening to them.

The Star addresses the very real problem of sleep deprivation. I loved seeing that part. I also loved seeing the part where Bo the donkey realizes what his destiny actually is. I recommend The Star to families in Family Friendly Gaming Universe. It was a pleasure for me to watch and review The Star on one of our movie nights.
