Zumba Burn It Up!
SCORE: 88
How many times have we asked Zumba to come
back to the video game industry? How many times have we told all ya’ll
that we want another Zumba video game to play? Guess what? Our prayers
have been answered with Zumba Burn It Up! on the Ninendo Switch. Family
Friendly Gaming was given a digital download code for Zumba Burn It Up!
on the Nintendo Switch. This dancing video game also comes in the
physical copy format.
There are thirty-one songs in Zumba Burn It Up! on the Switch. I plan on
having all of them recorded and on our
Youtube channel before the end of the year (2019). As I write this
review I am over the half way point in terms of recording the songs.
There are some catchy tunes in Zumba Burn It Up!. There are some songs
where families will have issues with the lyrics.
Real instructors dance with us in Zumba Burn It Up!. It starts with one
and then two supporting dancers come and join the exercise. The
backgrounds also change in Zumba Burn It Up!. There can be some lack of
attire, enticement to lust issues in Zumba Burn It Up!. They are
actually much more mild than previous Zumba video games so that is cool.
Overall the graphics really impressed me in Zumba Burn It Up!.
One Joycon is needed per player in Zumba Burn It Up!. The motion
detection is generally good in Zumba Burn It Up!. I noticed a few times
it was not registering even though I was doing the entire motion. This
is where I miss the Kinect controls for Zumba video games. Zumba Burn It
Up! is good in terms of motion recognition. It could be better if this
game was using the Kinect control scheme.
Zumba Burn It Up! can assist families in a variety of ways in terms of
cardio exercise. I know plenty of people who watch our videos and go to
Zumba classes thanks to our videos. We have even got correspondence from
those who used our videos to get trained to be a Zumba instructor. So I
know this game can do a lot of good in the world. I am so happy that
Zumba has come back to the video game industry. Zumba Burn It Up! is a
solid title families can enjoy.
